Obama 2008 = Kerry 2004 = Who’s my other Choice

As I watch the American presidential elections roll on and on and on I have to wonder how did the elections become so much like a 3 ring circus show that is trying to entertain the public when they are coming up with many empty promises.  I get a sense of déjà vu when I see Obama and how the stars of Hollywood and irrational fainting women are joining him because they don’t want another Bush or because Oprah says he’s good then we follow?  The last candidate to have so many “Hollywood” supports ended up flopping and having the seesaw effect when they met their Republican opponent.  Kerry seemed like a legitimate choice but deep down America has pride based on America and Hollywood a city where Stars think they can dictate the people into following them.  The stars must realize that the world they live in is not reality; it is not where the majority of Americans’ are just living to survive.  Stars, cannot understand what our lives are because they have the millions and they just make ads to tell us to vote when it comes to election time aside from that they are best serve in a movie then telling what to do. Look at the Oscars, no American’s really won any prestigious title.Unfortunately we are not the step ford wives, who are zombie-like, especially when you see your  independent-minded friends – fellow new arrivals to Step ford – turn into mindless, docile housewives overnight.  Oh wait they is Katie Holmes and Scientology but that is another blog for me to vent about later. Obama is not a Kennedy that had the romantic idea of the American Royalty family or does Obama use his family in the presidential race, instead he is using another woman to win the campaign, someone who is not his wife.Unfortunately Obama has two cards that Kerry did not. Race and another woman with power is what Obama has and Kerry didn’t 4 years ago.  Oprah has become a big disappointment to me because her place is on day time TV, yes she is successful but seeing her with Obama all time is like watching and hearing Celine Dion’s My heart will go on, yes the big voice, charismatic personality and chest pounding finales. This is not another book club where Oprah sits and leads her flock over the cliff.  Think about what Obama is promising.  I will only hold one thing to Obama’s time in office if he is elected.  He said in one of the democratic running debates that he will keep jobs in America and give tax breaks to companies who produce more jobs in the US. Unfortunately it is sheer lunacy to even think that is possible when so many companies rely on cheap labor to keep up with the sheer demand in the market.  It is the simple idea of supply and demand. I’m in Art and I know that this is truly an empty promise that will have tsunami ripples in the American market and abroad if it is implemented.  If things become too expensive then no one will spend and people will become even poorer. The divide between the rich and poor will look like the 3rd world countries.  I’m sicken when the stars only come up the funds when the realities and ugliness of America was shown to the world in the Katrina hurriacane. What lala land are you from to think that everyone is equal and have the basics to their needs?  But what really erks me more is that they want the every-day American to donate to their cause to stop the denial of basic needs in America.  My challenges is that if all the stars in Hollywood to New York to Florida can afford 12 bedroom houses for 1 person or have over 5 cars or even their own private jet, can probably spare at least 5 million to the Charity to aide in the needs of their fellow Americans that made them the person they are.Unless Obama and make the made in America a brand name then he might have a chance but seriously, I doubt he can unless he can convince congress and other governments to follow. Made in American does not mean good quality nor does it make the consumer want to pay for something that has lost it’s luster.  Oh boy, what is this world offering us anymore?
